The Challenge

Inconsistent Adoption

An internal enablement team was responsible for helping employees understand and use newly developed analytics dashboards. While the dashboards were well-built, adoption was inconsistent. Product owners were recording walkthroughs independently. Content varied in structure and quality. Explanations were often long, unstructured, and hard to follow. Teams still relied on direct support to understand how to use the tools. The issue wasn’t the dashboards—it was how they were being taught.
Approach

We partnered with the Enablement team to:

1. Standardizing the message
A lightweight presentation framework was created for all product owners to follow when recording training. Each recording answered a few key questions upfront: What is this dashboard? Who is it for? Why should it be used? From there, the walkthrough followed a clear structure: A high-level overview of the dashboard. A practical use case showing how a specific user would apply it. This ensured every video started with context—not just clicks.
2. Guiding subject matter experts
Instead of leaving SMEs to figure out how to explain their tools, the framework gave them: - A clear flow to follow.
- A consistent way to communicate.
- A repeatable format across all dashboards
3. Producing structured training videos
Raw recordings were then refined into focused training content by: Removing filler words, pauses, and unnecessary sections. Tightening pacing for clarity and engagement. Adding visual guidance such as zooms, highlights, and interaction cues. Emphasizing key actions and decision points. The goal was not just to clean up the video—but to make it easier to understand and follow.
4. Making training accessible
Final videos were uploaded to the company’s internal video platform, creating a centralized, on-demand training resource for teams.
